Terms and Conditions

Lace & Favour is a trading division of Hansen Marketing Ltd. Our trading address is Mulberry House, 10 Highlands Close, Crowborough, East Sussex. Ordering

Orders may be placed by telephone on 01892 667571 5 days a week Monday to Friday 9.30 am to 5.00 pm. Please have to hand the details of the goods you wish to purchase and the method of payment. Alternatively send your completed order form by post or fax.

International Orders

International orders can be placed in the same way by phone, post or fax. We are happy to send orders to any worldwide destination. If you are telephoning from outside the U.K. Please call +44 1892 667571. However these orders are subject to different delivery charges. We will contact you to advise you of the delivery costs and delivery time. Goods delivered abroad are subject to local custom & excise duty which you are responsible for paying. (Not applicable if delivering to countries which are part of the EEC)

Order Confirmation

Lace & Favour will send you a confirmation of your order by post or e-mail if you prefer. If there are any problems with your order, we will advise you as soon as possible. If you change your mind after placing an order, please contact us and we can cancel or amend your order up until the time of despatch. We are not however able to accept changes or cancellations of personalised or bespoke items once they have been made!

Methods of Payment

Lace & Favour accepts payment by all MasterCard and Visa credit cards and Switch/Maestro/Solo and Visa debit cards. We are currently unable to accept American Express. We also accept payment by cheque, please allow 7 working days for cheques to clear before your order can be despatched. Cheques should be made payable to Lace and Favour. Please ensure your address and cheque guarantee card number are written clearly on the reverse.

Delivery

All Lace & Favour orders are delivered depending on size/weight/content by Royal Mail, Parcelforce(Monday to Friday) or by courier at our discretion. Parcelforce and courier deliveries request a signature as proof of delivery. Therefore, please select a delivery address that is most convenient to you. Please allow 28 days for delivery, however some special orders can take up to 12 weeks. If you require anything in a hurry we will do our best to help - we always try to accommodate last minute requests. If you do not receive your delivery, please inform us immediately by telephone on 01892 667571.

Delivery Charges

The minimum delivery charge is £3.95. For orders up to £250, please add 10% to cover the cost of very careful packaging and delivery. Orders over £250 will be sent free of charge.

Samples & Colour Matching

We are very happy to supply samples, subject to a minimum charge of £1.00, refundable against any subsequent order. All samples will be charged at the retail price of the item, plus postage. Ribbon/fabric swatches are usually sent FOC. If you would like us to colour match ribbons or other bespoke items, please send us a sample of your fabric, and we will do our very best!

Returns & Refunds Policy

We hope that you will be delighted with everything you purchase from Lace & Favour. If for any reason you are not satisfied you may return the goods and receive a refund.
Goods must be returned in perfect condition, within 7 days of receipt, together with a copy of the invoice. You will be responsible for the return delivery costs. The refund for items returned will be in the form of the original payment either direct to your credit or debit card or by cheque.
Please note that the right to return goods does not apply to perishable products such as confectionery, real petal confetti and personalised or bespoke items. Our refunds and returns policy complies with the Distance Selling Regulations 2000, as published by the office of fair trading.

Statutory rights

If the goods are faulty, not what you ordered, or do not reach you in perfect condition, you are entitled to a full refund or replacement. Please return the goods with a description of the fault, together with any original box/packaging, where applicable. In these circumstances, Lace & Favour will reimburse the return delivery costs based on Royal Mail standard charges, and will send a replacement if required, postage paid.

Products & Descriptions

Every care has been taken to ensure that details of our products and prices are correct.
We do however reserve the right to (i) change prices if necessary and without prior notice and (ii) to offer an alternative of the same quality and value, if for any reason an item be no longer available due to circumstances beyond our control. In this unlikely event, we will of course notify you immediately. Should we be unable to fulfil your order, or part of, we will not be liable for the failure to deliver those goods in question. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Value Added Tax (VAT)

Prices stated include vat where applicable. For the U.K. including Northern Ireland and the Isle of Man but excluding the Republic of Ireland and all EEC member states, VAT is charged at the current rate of 17.5%
