When should I buy my wedding shoes?

The best advice we can give on when to buy your wedding shoes is to not leave it too late! While we’re pretty good at turning around even the tightest orders here at Lace & Favour, we hate to see any bride disappointed if she can’t get the shoes she loves in the style, colour or size she chooses.

Another factor to consider is how the shoes will alter the length of your gown. Ideally, you should have your wedding shoes in time for your first dress fitting, as this will determine the length your dress should be altered to. It’s also the perfect opportunity to see your complete ensemble. Pass us the tissues!

Of course, as long as you have your wedding shoes at least a day before the wedding, you’ll be fine. However, the earlier you have them the sooner you can wear them in, see them in tandem with your wedding dress and make sure you bag your dream pair in the right size, colour and style!
