I chose a size up from my 5.5 feet which has resulted in a comfortable fit. Had I gone a size down - as per the website recommendation - the shoes would have been too small. You can actually see from the website photos that the models toes don’t have much room so I don’t know why it is recommended to go a size down.

These are very expensive shoes but I can't fault the quality and style. In fact I think they are the most beautiful shoes I've ever had. My only complaint is that I had stated the date I needed them by and because they were waiting for my additional pair to come back in stock, the date seemed to be ignored.
